The fishing's been okay but business has been slow for charter captain Tig Dillon, and he's in debt. And business has also been slow for Junie, Tig's girlfriend and the owner of the Island Lily Marina where he slips his boat. A trendy new marina has opened nearby, owned by real estate developer Ronnie Rondeau and his trophy wife BobbieAnn, who are determined to become the only sharks in those waters. Then there's the Kid, a wannabe boat captain, and all he wants to do is fish. Set on the docks of the marina, The Island Lily is a warmhearted play about love, Fruit of the Loom underwear, and "landing the big one that almost got away!"
Before it was a live theater, local residents may remember the Majestic Theater as a movie house. It has since been renovated and reimagined to bring live performances to the West Springfield area, giving local performance and technical artists the opportunity to thrive.
Every season at the Majestic consists of five productions (including at least one musical) featuring local actors. In addition to the subscription season, the summer includes children's theater, concerts, plays, open mic nights, and improvisational comedy shows.

The Yee family at the Hu Ke Lau in Chicopee has invited the Majestic Theater family and our cast from Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story to perform all 28 songs from our production as a concert in their dinner theater. The cast from this past fall's Buddy at the Majestic - including Ben Ashley as Buddy and Frank Manzi as Richie Valens - will perform those classic rock'n'roll songs we love! The Hu Ke Lau's full menu of great food and beverages will be available for dinner, which will truly make this Buddy Holly and Friends show a great night "back in town"! First up, it's the fiddle man himself, Craig Eastman, and his magical violin. Craig, who is a Western Mass native, has performed and recorded with the likes of Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, and Sheryl Crow. For this special evening he'll be joined by some special guests to bring you his brand of amazing fiddle music from Ireland to America and beyond - a night of high-energy toe tapping and hauntingly beautiful melodies. Bo Fitzgerald and the YankCelt Band

They came in last year and packed the house! Tom Shea from the Republican newspaper hailed them as an "Irish-American super group." The band features local icon and front man Bo Fitzgerald on vocals, Craig Eastman on fiddle, Mixie Clarke on the button box, Jeff Sullivan on guitar and banjo, Guy DeVito on bass, and Billy Klock on drums, all bringing you their very special blend of traditional Irish music. Tickets $22 and $24.
Last year, our wine tasting night at the Majestic Café sold out. It was a great night that was enjoyed by everyone in attendance. This year, we are going to host three Tuesday night wine tastings, along with cheeses, breads, and other light fare that complement the wines for that evening. We will also have the new Majestic Treasures on display.
