Margaret and Mary are elderly sisters who share a house in Savannah, Georgia where they indulge in elderly sister activity like watching BBC sitcoms and cooking dinners for their parish priest, Father Murphy. One afternoon the simple-minded Margaret answers the door to find Melissa, a perky Pentecostal, on the porch. She invites the sunny missionary inside and gets quickly schooled on how Catholics are destined for Hell. Mary comes home to find her sister panicked and blows the proverbial gasket when she’s told that
Melissa will return later in the week. Her solution is to invite Father Murphy over to straighten things out “once and for all.” What follows is an outrageously funny theological brawl that will test each of their beliefs. THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION proves one thing: faith can be a funny business.Savannah

THE ODD COUPLE is not only one of the funniest of plays Neil Simon has given us but, surprisingly, still stands the test of time and remains a comedic gem. The plot is simple. What happens when neurotic neat-freak Felix Ungar, tossed out of his home by his wife, moves in with his best friend, the divorced and slovenly sportswriter Oscar Madison? It’s an irresistible force hilariously colliding with an immovable object! Complicating matters more are the “poker pals.” There’s Murray, an overweight cop; the henpecked Vinnie;
the always sarcastic Speed; Roy, the dry accountant; and, finally, a pair of British sisters, Cecily and Gwendolyn Pigeon, the upstairs neighbors, both of them single and available! THE ODD COUPLE is Neil Simon at his best.
